First X-Men Actor Confirmed For Avengers: Doomsday

Avengers: Doomsday has added an X-Men franchise star. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting ready for one of its biggest movies ever. With the Multiverse Saga getting into its final phase, the franchise is inching closer to the MCU"s first X-Men movie. However, mutants are expected to appear in the final films of the ongoing saga, which has been revealed by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Now, there has come solid confirmation of that, as Avengers: Doomsday"s cast will include at least one star from Fox"s X-Men movies.
During Marvel Studios" livestream to announce Avengers: Doomsday"s cast, it was revealed that Beast actor Kelsey Grammer will appear in the MCU movie.
Grammer first played Beast X-Men: The Last Stand before making a cameo in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Recently, he joined the MCU in The Marvels" post-credits scene. The sequence revealed that Monica Rambeau landed in a universe that had a version of the X-Men. Grammer"s Beast and Lashana Lynch"s Binary greeted her there, with Beast commenting on how he would talk about her with Charles Xavier.

The X-Men are set to play a role in the next Avengers movie before Marvel Studios" version of the team debuts. While Beast and Binary showed up in The Marvels, they were clearly in a version of the X-Men mansion, and Grammer"s character mentioned that he was going to talk to Charles Xavier. Avengers: Doomsday could show a full universe of variants of Fox"s X-Men characters.

Posts 3 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness introduced the concept of incursions, which are the events that happen when multiple Earths collide, destroying one or more of them. The MCU has already shown a few universes, and The Marvels" X-Men Earth, the Illuminati"s Earth-838, and more could come clashing with Earth-616, leading to the new Avengers fighting the X-Men and other heroes for survival. Another possible route the movie takes is that Grammer"s Beast and his X-Men team assist the Avengers as they fight Doctor Doom, which could then also turn into a fight between the teams in the end.
